Harpo is a silver-tinged, apricot miniature Poodle who was owner-surrendered to the Memphis Animal Shelter. We rescued him and found him to have one of the best personalities we’ve ever encountered!
He was recently adopted by Renae and Steve Fulton. With his adoption came a new name – Austin. They’ve sent us this update:
Thought you might enjoy an update on your furry friend, Harpo. He has a new name now, Austin. He his such a delightful little guy and so very happy! We are so very glad you rescued Austin so we could give him his forever home. Some one told me his name should have been lucky because he was so lucky to be living with us…..we think we are the ones that are lucky. What a great companion. He has been to the vet for his check up and everything looks good. Next adventure will the spa….ok, dog groomer. Didn’t want to throw to much his way to quickly. We have a soft sided crate he stays in if we are away from the house, (still has puppy in him) and he does great on the road too! Only good things to say. Kudos’s to Julie for fostering him, I know you must miss this little guy. What a wonderful and difficult job you both have. Thank goodness for folks like you!
