Please consider an older pet if you work full time and want to come home and relax with your pet. Many people don’t have the energy for a dog that needs a long walk or run or a high energy game.
If you want a companion that can stop and smell the flowers with you, or just be a couch potato, we are overflowing with very nice dogs needing homes. Fees are waived to approved adopters. We will gladly accept a donation of your choice to
help with expenses for these fully vetted dogs.
Contact Lisa at 901-652-9781 if you see a senior that tugs at your heart strings.

Others are more recent additions (like the Bichons) but are so deserving of their new homes that we are willing to waive the adoption fees to approved adopters […]

We rescued Nikki and her daughter Snowball from living neglected in a back yard, being fed when someone remembered to leave food out for them. Nikki is a Japanese Chin mix and Snowball is the result of breeding Nikki to a pug.  Both dogs were heartworm positive and had been for at least two years. […]

We received an urgent email that six bichons were left in a closed breeder facility. All were females born in 2002. All the younger dogs had found placement or other shelters/rescues to take them. Sadly, we could only take three. These girls were born in August and Nov of 2002. Pallie is the friendliest. Pandy […]
