Introducing one of our dogs of the week ... Mabel
Mabel is a great companion dog waiting to find her new home!
We acquired Mabel from a local veterinarian clinic. She had been turned in as a stray and no one claimed her. We can't figure out why, as she is such a love.
Mabel is a 5 year old fox or rat terrier. She weighs about 15 pounds (just the right size for a lap!).
Mabel is very versatile. She can be a loving happy lap dog. But she also LOVES kids. One of her favorite passtimes is playing ball and fetching for you to throw.
Mabel can entertain herself and you with her antics.
She is crate trained and will go to her crate by choice. While she can play with the best of them, Mabel also enjoys her quiet time.
Mabel appears to be housetrained. She is spayed and is heartworm negative.
She is currently fostered in a high volume foster dog setting and has adapted admirably to this environment. We know, though, that Mabel would really love a home of her own.
Could her new home be with you?
